Assistant Pastor / Webmaster
Arrived: July 10th

Place of origin: South Florida

What does ministry mean to you?
Being in ministry is a true blessing! It is an opportunity for me to share with other’s what Christ has done in my own life. I was raised in church and became a Christian at a young age. However, I became very good at ‘playing church’. It is my desire to teach others how to truly experience a real relationship with Christ. As the shirt says, “It’s against my relationship to have a religion.”

Education:
Johnson Bible College – Preaching & Church Leadership
Florida Atlantic University – Public Management

Family:
I have two wonderful parents, and with two older brothers and a younger sister, I am the third of four children.

Influences/ Inspiration:
My Parents, Pastor David Hughes, Pastor Dale Eby, Pastor Brent (of course).

When did you become a Christian?
I gave my life to Christ at the age of Seven (I was raised in church), but as I grew older I began to truly understand the gravity and implications of that decision.

Mentors: Pastor Brent

When I ‘Grow Up’ I want to be:
Assuming I one day grow up… A Monorail Pilot at Disney World =) “Please Stand Clear Of The Doors…”

What’s on your ipod?
Some of my favorite artists are: Tenth Avenue North, Flyleaf, Fee, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Kelly Minter, Downhere, and Newworldson. However, I am eclectic so my tastes also include country music.

Favorite Movie:
I am a ‘movie buff’, so that is a VERY loaded question! The Batman movies are in the top 100! If you have about three hours, I’ll give you a list… =)

Favorite TV Show: Psych, Royal Pains, I find myself watching more and more of the History Channel (even the ‘boring documentaries).

Favorite Team: Atlanta Braves

Favorite Restaurant: Fogo De Chao, Smokin’ Eds, Blue Moose, P.F. Changs

Favorite childhood memory: Family vacations to Disney and Tennessee (Explains Alot…)

My Passion: I am very passionate about ministry in all forms! I am the church “tech-goob” so I naturally like using High-Production Value to reach people by using the various forms of media they already enjoy. (Personal Note: there is no such thing as being “good-enough” quality for church).
